Barbara A. Taylor, Enrolled Agent, of Sebring, was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 23, 1949.  She has been a resident of Highlands County for the last 25 years, moving here from Boynton Beach, Florida.

She has 39 years of accounting experience and 30 years of income tax preparation.  In 1994 she successfully passed the Internal Revenue Service’s Special Enrollment Examination and received her Certificate of Enrollment.  She is authorized to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and represents clients in all areas of taxes. 

She spent many years volunteering her time to the Sebring Area Girl Scouts and is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sebring.

She has two daughters, Jessie and Amy.  Jessie graduated from Sebring High in 2000 and graduated cum-laude from the University of Florida in 2004.  She currently works for Walt Disney World in Orlando.  Amy graduated from Sebring High School in 2006 and attended Valencia College in Orlando for a year and will attend South Florida Community College to finish her Associates Degree.
